MONROE AYSO Referee Clinic (New Referees Only)
Saturday, March 30th at Flames Restaurant, 262 Main St., Monroe, CT 10AM - 5:00PM (Lunch provided)
*Must be 10 years old as February, 2024 (Adults are welcome)*
Instructor Stan Tait will teach you all that you need to know to receive your AYSO referee credential
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals age 10 and up (born on or before February 2014) to gain the knowledge, and licensing required to officiate Soccer games at the AYSO level. Those aged 10 & 11 will be trained to officiate at the Under 8 level.
Referees are in high demand, and becoming an AYSO Assistant Referee, or Referee is a fun, rewarding opportunity to support the community. You will become a role model to our young athletes and an ambassador for the sport

To register for the clinic, Follow these steps:
- To register you must first register as a volunteer or youth volunteer on your region web site. For Monroe – it is www.monroeayso.com Students MUST have their own log in and id number.
- Once you have been registered as a volunteer, on the "Volunteer" tab please select AYSOU (This will forward you to the LMS training page). You will scroll down on the left to select "Training Event". In the Box headed Regions, you will key in "Region 186". You will then scroll through the calendar to the date of March 25th, 2023. Here you will select the "Regional Referee Class" offering, and then select "Enroll"
- Once registered for the clinic, join us at Flames Restaurant, 262 Main St., Monroe, CT on Saturday, March 30th from 10:00AM - 5:00PM (Lunch will be served), Please bring a notebook and pencil to the course.
*In order to be certified students must pass the exam with a grade of 75% or better.
